  1. A loable intent and well recited, from a great Sufi and poet, regrettably translated by Fitzgerald, who destroyed Kayyams verses. Please refer to the real translation by Robert Graves and Omar Ali Shah, from the Persian manuscript.

  2. Delighted to see that this classic reading is attracting the attention it deserves. As for me, I never tire of listening to it — mesmerized.

  3. A butterfly can't die… Never will… no chance… They only surender their wings… And when all is ablaze… Sit back and amaze… Dance… commune…. sing!… Hosanna in the highest… OM…………. A dance of heaven and hell… Why do you stay in your cocoons butterflies… Why oh why?… That's hell…

  4. "Ya Allah why hast thou forsaken me?! "… Resurrect from sleep of mummification…. Step into the light!… Adonai!… YHWH!… 3 IN 1….. No… ONE! The river's are many… The paths have colours… The Quran sheds light! Sheds light!…

  5. Allah does not want to trap you… You do it to yourself… A butterfly is always searching for light… The thunder claps divert you… See how you flutter in fright!… Oh little butterfly!… You amuse me…. What eyes cannot behold till infinity…. God replaces with trinkets a pirates delight….

  6. How will you attract Juliet?… If you fly with rumi and qayyim… Juliet…. Juliet… Why do you run from shaitaan and dajjal?… You only run from yourself.. Face it… slay it… convert it…. With Love… bereft of regret… Respect all butterflies… Whether black red white or grey…

  7. Butterflies A poem…….Why do you stay in your cocoons… For you are green and purple butterflies…Your heart is stiff with separation… How will you fly far and wide?..Guidance from Allah beckons you.. But you have sunglasses on…You want to fly in circles of suffering.. How long… oh how long?…Spreading not wings.. but grief… You killed a child with your thousand eyes…How will you set her free?… Your mind is full of vibration…

  10. I have the 1886 copy of this with plates by Rene Bull .. truly, to read it is wonderful and it is so thought provoking .. this is the first time I have heard someone reading it. At my advanced age I am pleased to have found it and will live, the remainder of my days, in the comfort that when/if my faculties fade and that I can no longer read and gaze at the plates, then you will be with me and be my friend. Thank you, from the bottom of this old man's soul and heart.
